Frank Brought Out the Big Popcorn Bowl for Movie Night. Cocoa Claimed the Best Seat.
Movie night has officially begun on the living room couch. Frank and Marion are snuggled side by side under a green knit throw, Frank holding a big ceramic bowl of fluffy popcorn between them while Marion leans in with a cozy, contented smile. Both are wearing their cream cable-knit sweaters and glasses, settled in for the evening. Cocoa has planted herself front and center on the cushions, her curly chocolate head and blue collar filling the foreground, her soulful eyes looking out as if she is the one who picked tonight's film. A glass of water, a remote, a box of tissues, and a little succulent sit on the side table.
Popcorn is one of those snacks that dogs find irresistible, but how it is made matters. A few kernels of plain, air-popped popcorn without butter, oil, salt, or seasonings are generally considered fine for most dogs as an occasional treat. Buttery, salty, or flavored popcorn is not a good choice, and seasonings like garlic or onion powder should always be avoided. Unpopped kernels and hard hulls can get stuck between teeth or pose a choking risk. Keeping a few dog treats on the coffee table is a simple way to let your dog take part in movie night without the worry. Your vet can help if you have questions about snacks.
Whatever is on the screen tonight, Frank and Marion have the best company possible, and Cocoa is clearly ready for a double feature.
