The Fluffy Round Bed Has Two Tenants Who Clearly Worked Out an Agreement

AI imagetuxedo catbaby goatpet bed

A big, shaggy round pet bed sits in the middle of the living room, and it has two tenants who clearly worked out a sharing agreement. On the left, a black and white tuxedo cat lies stretched out, white bib and mittens bright against the cream fluff, his yellow eyes watching calmly. Snuggled right next to him is a small goat kid, white with brown and black spots, legs folded under and one speckled ear flopped over, looking perfectly at home. A stuffed toy, a pair of slippers, a woven basket with a blanket, and a potted plant fill the corner behind them.

Small goat breeds, such as Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy goats, have become popular with backyard keepers because of their compact size and friendly personalities. Even so, they are still true livestock with the same needs as larger goats: a companion goat, secure fencing, a dry shelter, hay and browse, minerals, hoof trims, and regular vet care. Goats also tend to live for many years, often well over a decade with good care, so bringing one home is a long-term commitment. Before adopting, it is wise to check local zoning rules and to find a vet in your area who treats goats.

For now, this little kid seems to have found the softest spot in the house and a calm friend to share it with. As far as she is concerned, this bed is big enough for two.
