A White Bulldog and a Pink Sphynx Strolled Through the Meadow
The meadow is full of tiny white and purple flowers, and two unlikely companions are crossing it together. A white Bulldog walks in front, wearing a black leash and a serious, slightly puffed-out expression. Beside him a pink hairless Sphynx strides along on her own harness, her giant ears pointed up and her wrinkled skin glowing in the sun. A line of trees stands in the distance.
Bulldogs are stocky, muscular dogs with a calm, friendly personality. They are sensitive to heat because of their short faces, so keep walks short and leave plenty of shade and water. Their wrinkles may need regular cleaning, and a vet can help you with the details.
Sphynx cats have little fur, so they can be sensitive to sun and cold. A walk like this is best in mild weather, and a pale cat may need protection from direct sun. Harness training takes patience, so start indoors and go slowly, since many cats need time to get used to the feel.
The two of them are in no hurry. The Bulldog sets a dignified pace, and the Sphynx keeps up with her high-stepping stride. Walking side by side through a field of wildflowers on a pleasant day looks like a very good way to spend an afternoon. It is a fine day for an unusual parade, and the meadow seems glad of the company.
