A Bengal Who Loves Water Dragged a Bunny to the Creek

AI imagebengal catlop-eared bunnycreek

A mossy bank rises behind a trickle of clear creek water, and a snow Bengal is up to her wrists in it. She taps the surface with one paw, sending a small spray of droplets into the air, while her pale blue eyes follow the splash. Beside her, a cream lop-eared bunny sits in the shallows with her ears hanging, her round body glowing against the dark water. Fallen leaves and small stones are scattered along the creek bed, and a few green plants lean from the bank.

Unlike many cats, Bengals are known for liking water, and some will happily splash, dip a paw or even swim. That is not typical for most cats, so a Bengal like this one is a fun exception. Rabbits generally dislike getting wet, and wet fur can chill them quickly, so a splash in the creek is not a great idea for a real rabbit. If your pets ever get wet outdoors, dry them off with a towel and keep them warm. Creeks can also carry parasites and bacteria, so supervise carefully and give them clean water to drink. A vet can advise on outdoor safety.

The cat looks delighted with her game, and the bunny seems to be watching with great interest. Maybe she is deciding whether to join in, or simply enjoying the show.
