A Boston Terrier and a Bunny Peeked Out From the Same Blue Quilt
A faded blue quilt has been bunched into a hollow, and two sleepy faces are peeking out of it. A black and white Boston Terrier looks at the camera with big dark eyes and one upright ear, and tucked right beside him, a small brown bunny blinks with her ears slightly raised. A basket of laundry, a plant, and scattered clothes fill the room behind them.
Boston Terriers are friendly, lively little dogs with a tuxedo coat and a flat face. They are affectionate and good with families, and they love a cozy blanket. Because of their short noses, they can overheat easily, so it is best to keep them in a cool room and not over-exercise them. A vet can share tips on keeping a Boston healthy and comfortable.
Burrowing into blankets is a natural instinct for many animals, and it helps them feel safe and warm. Dogs may circle and dig before settling, and rabbits seek out little hollows to rest in. If you share a blanket with a rabbit, be sure she can get out easily, since loose threads and folds can trap small feet and cause stress.
The pair look like they have just woken up from a long nap. The quilt is rumpled, the room is calm, and neither one seems ready to get going. Some mornings are better enjoyed from under a warm blanket.
