A Cream Cat and a Cream Bunny Took the Driver's Seat Together
Perched on a cracked black tractor seat, a round-faced cream Exotic Shorthair cat and a fluffy cream lop-eared bunny sit side by side like two proud drivers. The cat's big golden eyes look off to the side with quiet interest, and the bunny's long ears droop beside her. Behind them, a hose, a watering can, a plaid shirt, and old boards fill the barn in warm light.
Exotic Shorthairs are often described as the easygoing cousins of the Persian. They have the same round face and sweet expression, but a shorter coat that is simpler to care for. Many are quiet, affectionate, and happy to lounge near their people. Like Persians, their flat faces can lead to breathing and eye care needs, so ask your vet about checkups. Old machinery is not a safe place for pets, since there may be sharp metal, grease, or leaking fluids, so keep animals away from it. If cats and rabbits live together, supervise them closely and make sure the rabbit always has a place to hide.
The matching cream colors make this pair look like a set. Their poses are nearly identical, both upright, both calm, both gazing toward something just out of view. They look entirely at home on that old seat, as if they had been waiting there all morning for their turn to drive.
