A Ragdoll and a Bunny Went to Inspect the Lettuce
Seedlings and lettuce leaves dot the garden bed, and two explorers have arrived. A fluffy blue point Ragdoll with sapphire eyes sits looking off to the side, and a gray lop-eared bunny sits beside her with her ears hanging down and her whiskers twitching. A wooden fence, some pots and a watering can fill the background, and the soil is soft and dark.
Rabbits love fresh greens, but not every garden plant is safe for them. Some common plants such as rhubarb leaves, onions and certain flowers can be harmful, and pesticides and fertilizers can be a danger to any pet. Before letting a rabbit or cat roam in the garden, check what is growing there and keep an eye on both of them. Ragdolls are large, gentle cats that usually enjoy company, and they tend to be relaxed with other animals. A calm cat who respects the rabbit's space is a good start, but never leave them alone together, because rabbits have delicate bodies. Your vet can help you plan a safe outdoor routine.
The Ragdoll looks around with her calm blue gaze, and the bunny sniffs the nearest leaf. It is a gentle garden stroll with no goal beyond fresh air and a bit of company. The lettuce is probably doomed, but the afternoon is a pleasure. A little breeze moves the leaves, the soil smells fresh and the two of them sit as if they have all the time in the world.
