A Shih Tzu Puppy in Reindeer Antlers Waited on the Snowy Porch
Twiggy little antlers sit on the head of a gold-and-white Shih Tzu puppy, who stares at the camera with big dark eyes. His fluffy face looks like a tiny teddy bear's, and his round paws rest on a porch dusted with fresh snow. A railing, a bare tree, and a wintry street fade softly behind him. The antlers are a little crooked, but he looks proud. Snowflakes cling to the fur on his cheeks, and a sprinkle of white lies on the porch rail beside him.
Shih Tzus are friendly, affectionate companion dogs that were bred to be lap dogs. Their long, flowing coats need regular brushing, and the hair near the eyes often needs trimming. They are happy to play, but they do not need long walks, and they usually love time with their family above all.
Because of their short noses, Shih Tzus can have trouble in extreme weather, hot or cold. Keep outdoor time brief in winter, and dry his paws and coat when he comes inside. Antlers or headbands should be light and loose so that they do not irritate him, and should come off as soon as the photo is done.
The antlers might be tiny, but the reindeer attitude is very real, and he looks quite ready to lead the way. The cold air and the soft snow make the whole scene feel like the front of a holiday card.
