A Fluffy White Cat Sat in the Middle of a Spilled Bag of Chips
Crunch, crunch, caught. A fluffy white cat sits right in the center of a sea of golden potato chips, one paw resting beside a torn silver bag, her ears tilted back and her blue-gray eyes aimed straight at you. Chips are scattered across the floor in all directions, and a few cling to her fur.
Behind her, a couch with a green pillow and a gray basket fills the room, and sunlight pours across the wood. We'll call her Cloud. Her coat looks like cotton, her expression looks like a guilty child's, and she appears to be wondering how to look like she just happened to be here.
Cats are attracted to salty, fatty snacks, but chips are not a good choice. They are very high in salt and fat, and chips flavored with onion or garlic powder can be harmful to cats. A single chip is usually not a big deal, but a pile of chips can cause stomach upset or an excess of salt, which is a reason to call your vet if she ate a lot. Shiny bags can also trap a cat's head, so never let cats play in or around empty snack bags. Keep snacks in a cupboard, close bags with clips, and give her a treat made for cats instead. Cats are curious and clever, so a closed cabinet is the best safeguard.
Cloud sits in her snack kingdom, soft as snow and twice as sneaky.
