A Black Devon Rex Smiles in the Middle of a Feather Storm

AI imagedevon rexpillow feathersliving room

Feathers drift through the air like snow, and the curly black Devon Rex sits at the center of the storm with wide golden eyes and a tiny smile. White feathers cling to her coat and fall around her, and the torn pillow lies in tatters beneath her paws. Her big ears are pointed to the sides, and a few curly whiskers curl out like little springs. Behind her, a knitted blanket hangs over a chair, a mug and a plant sit on a table, and a pile of clothes lies on the floor in the golden light.

Devon Rex cats are playful, curious, and full of energy, and they enjoy climbing and getting into everything. Pillows are soft, easy to tear, and full of interesting stuffing, which makes them tempting targets. Feathers and stuffing can irritate a cat's stomach if swallowed, so it is wise to clean up quickly and offer safe toys instead. A Devon Rex also has a very thin, curly coat that is easily tangled with fluff, so a gentle brushing can help. If your cat swallows a lot of stuffing or seems unwell, call your vet.

She looks like a small, curly witch in a feather storm, and she seems to be quite happy about it. The tiny smile is the part that gives her away. The pillow was a brave soldier, but the cat is a determined opponent. The room will need a good vacuum, though the picture was worth it.
