A Cream French Bulldog Explorer Holds His Brass Telescope
Sir Reginald has just returned from the edge of the map, and he has the telescope to prove it. The cream French Bulldog stands tall in a dark green coat with gold embroidery on the collar, a leather strap across the chest and a soft cream cravat tied at his throat. His big bat ears stand upright, his wrinkled brow is serious and his dark eyes look straight ahead as he holds a gleaming brass telescope across his body. Behind him, shadowed drapery and a stone column fade into a stormy background, and the canvas shows tiny cracks like an old master painting.
French Bulldogs are friendly, lively companions with a famous set of bat ears and a short, easy-care coat. They are affectionate, sometimes stubborn and typically get along with family members of all ages. Their flat faces mean they can have trouble breathing, especially in hot or humid weather or during intense exercise, so they do best in cool environments with gentle walks. They should never be left in a warm car or outdoors on a hot day, and a harness is often more comfortable than a collar. Talk to your vet about breathing, skin folds and weight. Frenchies enjoy short play sessions, and many are happy to be the center of attention. Even a small explorer needs plenty of rest.
Reginald has charted the sofa, the kitchen and the sunny patch by the window. The most important discoveries are always close to home.
