A Cavalier Knight Polished His Armor and Looked Up With Sweet Eyes
Sir Waggington has polished his armor and is ready to defend the castle, or at least to look very handsome in front of it. A tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel gazes up with soft, round eyes, his long glossy black ears falling over his shoulders and tan brows lifted in thought. The armor gleams in silver and gold, with delicate lilies carved on the plate, and a blue velvet cloak hangs over one shoulder. Behind him, a river winds through a hazy green countryside under a bright, cloudy sky.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are affectionate, adaptable dogs that thrive on human company. They usually get along well with children and other pets, and they are as happy on a long walk as they are on a sofa. Their silky ears and feathered coat need regular brushing, and their ears should be kept clean and dry. The breed is prone to certain heart conditions, so routine vet visits are especially useful. They do not like to be left alone for long periods, so plan for companionship.
The painter lingered on the steel, making each plate reflect a warm, golden light. The face above it is far from fierce. If a dragon ever appeared, this brave knight would very likely try to make friends with it. After all, the best defense is a very large pair of sweet brown eyes.
