Five Puppies Climbed Into the Wheelbarrow and Waited for a Delivery
A battered gray wheelbarrow holds a heap of five cream puppies, all snuggled together like a basket of fluffy pastries. A few look up at the camera with dark eyes, while others rest their chins on a sibling. Behind them, a blue-checked cloth and a cardboard box lie on the floor beside a potted plant, and the puppies look right at home.
Wheelbarrows seem like fun puppy carriages, but they can be unsafe. A metal one can have rough edges or be cold, and it can tip if the puppies move around. Keep the barrow on stable ground, line it with something soft, and never wheel it with puppies inside. A puppy that tumbles out could be hurt, so stay close and keep any ride very gentle.
Because Havanese puppies are small, even a modest fall can hurt them. Many owners find a low, sturdy bed or a playpen is a safer place for a group. Havanese enjoy company, and a litter will often pile together, which is good for comfort, but each puppy should also learn to be comfortable by herself.
In this barrow, there is room for everybody, if everybody stays close. The five seem to agree on that. It is hard to say whether this is a puppy delivery or a puppy parade, but whatever it is, the barrow has never been so well loved.
