Three White Puppies Filled the Bike Basket and Were Ready to Roll
Three white Bulldog puppies are squeezed into a wicker bicycle basket, their wrinkled faces looking outward with calm, curious eyes. Their ears fold back, their noses are pink, and they lean against one another as if sharing a very small room. Behind them, a bright hall with a green coat, a pair of shoes, and a potted plant glows in the morning light.
A bicycle ride with a puppy needs careful planning. A basket must be strong and secure, and a puppy should be tethered in a way made for the purpose. Many puppies are too young for rides, and Bulldogs, with their short noses and heavy bodies, can have trouble in heat or on bumpy trips. Ask your vet before taking your dog on any outing.
A safer way to enjoy a basket is to let your puppy sit in it at home, with a treat and a cuddle. That helps her learn to be calm in a small space, which will make travel to the vet easier later. Bulldogs are gentle and patient, and they usually take well to such practice.
This trio seems to have no concerns. They sit side by side, with the bike parked and the day waiting, and their faces show only quiet interest. If there was a ride planned, they were ready, and if not, the basket is a fine place to be.
