Two Cream Chihuahua Puppies Fit in Just Two Cupped Hands
Held gently in a pair of cupped hands, two cream-colored Chihuahua puppies press close together. Their huge ears are taller than their little heads, their dark eyes are round and shiny, and their tiny noses are black as buttons. One looks toward the camera with a hint of worry while the other peeks sideways. Behind them, the blurred room is bright with window light, and the whole scene is soft and fragile.
Chihuahua puppies can be small enough to fit in two hands, and they need very careful handling. Support the chest and the hips, keep them close to your body and sit on the floor so a wriggle does not turn into a fall. Teach children to sit down when holding a puppy and to be gentle. Many Chihuahua puppies are born with a soft spot on top of the head, so avoid pressing on it, and ask your vet about it at the first checkup.
