A Rottweiler Woke Up in a Quilt Burrito. He Wasn't in There Alone.
Good morning from the quilt burrito. A black and tan Rottweiler with a glossy coat and warm brown eyes is peeking out from a rumpled beige quilt, looking just barely awake. Snuggled in the same fold, a white lamb lifts its head with a drowsy, half-open gaze, as if not quite ready to face the day. The quilt is pulled around both of them like a nest. Soft morning light comes through a sheer-curtained window, and a leafy houseplant in a cream pot sits on the floor nearby.
Rottweilers sometimes get an intimidating reputation because of their size and strength, but well-bred, well-socialized Rotties are often calm, devoted, and surprisingly affectionate with the people and animals they consider family. They are confident guardians by nature, so early socialization, consistent positive training, and clear household rules are especially important. Rottweilers are also very people-focused and do not usually thrive when left alone for long stretches. Daily exercise, mental games, and time spent close to their humans help them stay balanced and content.
This one certainly looks content. Whatever the day ahead holds, it can wait a few more minutes while the quilt is still warm and the lamb is still nestled close. Some mornings are worth easing into slowly, with a warm quilt and a good friend, and this is clearly one of them.
