A Puppy and a Pony Curled Into One Sleepy Ball of Fluff
It is almost impossible to tell where the puppy ends and the pony begins. A curly apricot Goldendoodle puppy curls into a tight spiral with his chin on his paws, his long ears draped and his eyes closed. Pepper, the shaggy tan pony, has pressed his nose into the puppy's side and shut his eyes, the long hair of his tail wrapped around them like a ribbon.
The two of them fill a corner of an olive green couch, with a cream cushion behind and a curtain letting light in from the window. A knit throw and some clutter sit in the background. The color of their coats matches so well that they look like one fluffy creature.
Goldendoodle puppies are playful, cuddly, and often love to be close to their people and their friends. Their curly coats need regular brushing, and mats can form quickly. Dogs often curl up when they sleep to conserve warmth and feel secure. Couches are cozy for puppies, but young dogs should be kept from jumping off high furniture, which can strain growing joints. Ponies, of course, belong outdoors with proper shelter, so a scene like this is best enjoyed as a daydream. Ask your vet about safe sleeping spots for puppies.
Two sleepers, one soft cloud. It seems friendship looks like a pile of curls and a shared dream.
