A Ragdoll Cat and a Lop Bunny Rolled Across the Yard in a Wagon
The backyard is quiet and golden at the end of the day, and a small red wagon is rolling across the lawn. Inside it, a blue point Ragdoll sits tall on a bed of burlap, her fluffy chest white and her pale blue eyes alert. Next to her, Pudding the lop-eared bunny sits with her ears hanging and her whiskers twitching, looking out at the world. A person's hand holds the wagon handle at the edge of the frame, and flowerbeds and a garden shed wait in the distance.
Ragdolls are large, relaxed cats, and many are known for going limp and calm when picked up, which is how the breed got its name. They tend to be gentle and easygoing, and some enjoy being carried or going along for the ride. Rabbits, however, are often nervous about movement, so any trip should be slow and gentle. A cat and a rabbit riding together in a wagon should always be supervised, and neither should be left to bounce around loose. A vet can help you decide if a short ride is a good idea for a pet rabbit.
This is an old-fashioned kind of outing. The wagon rolls slowly, the grass whispers, and two passengers take in the view with composed faces. It looks like the sort of ride that ends with a long nap and a lot of happy memories.
