Somebody Loaded the Wagon With Pumpkins and One Fluffy Extra
The red wagon is loaded with pumpkins, and there is a cream Goldendoodle puppy sitting right on top of them. Her soft curls look like wool, her ears flop to either side and her dark eyes gaze politely forward. Orange pumpkins fill every gap around her, and behind her are a porch, a sack of corn stalks and a carved pumpkin on the steps. She is a very well-behaved cargo.
Goldendoodles are a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, and they are often friendly, bright and eager to please. They usually need regular exercise, mental games and a good brushing routine, since those curly coats can mat. Because every dog is different, size and coat can vary a lot, and your vet or a trainer can help you plan. In a pumpkin patch, watch for puppies chewing on stems or eating raw pumpkin pieces in quantity, which may upset their stomachs.
A wagon is a nice way to move pumpkins, and a nicer way to move a puppy. This one seems to have decided that she is the prize of the harvest. She sits tall and looks proud, and the pumpkins around her look like an audience. If someone pulls the wagon, she will probably enjoy every bump, and a few kind neighbors might even stop to say hello.
