A Bichon Frise Wore a Bedsheet and Looked Like the Cutest Ghost
A fluffy white dog under a white sheet is the easiest ghost to spot. A Bichon Frise sits on the couch with a bedsheet draped over his head and shoulders, his curly face peeking out from underneath, with a black nose, dark eyes, and cotton-ball curls. Behind him, the living room is set with fall pieces: an orange pumpkin and gourds on the coffee table, a basket of mini pumpkins, a green blanket on the couch, and a gray blanket on the floor. Let's call him Puff. He's the friendliest spirit in the house.
Bichon Frises are cheerful, playful little dogs with powder-puff coats. They're friendly with people and other pets and love to be the center of attention, which makes them natural performers. Their curly coat is low-shedding but needs regular brushing and professional grooming to avoid mats. They can be tough to housetrain and may not like being alone for long, so consistent training and company help them thrive.
A sheet ghost is simple, but it comes with caution. Loose fabric can slip over a dog's eyes, make it hard to see, or tangle around his legs, especially if he starts to move. Use a sheet only for a very short photo while he sits, and stay with him the whole time. A better option for a longer evening is a fitted costume or a bandana. If he seems unsure, take it off, and give him a treat for being a good sport.
Puff sits in his sheet looking calm and sweet. The only thing spooky about him is how adorable he is.
