Titan Wore the Reindeer Sweater With a Very Serious Face
Large, calm, and handsome, a black and tan Rottweiler sits in a room lit with warm string lights and wears a knitted sweater patterned with red reindeer and snowflakes. His brown eyes are soft, and the tan markings above them give him an expressive look. Behind him, a garland with pinecones and tiny lights runs along the edge of a couch, and a soft blanket rests nearby.
Rottweilers are strong, intelligent dogs, and a well-trained, well-socialized one is often a devoted and gentle family companion. They have a calm confidence, and many enjoy having a job, such as learning tricks or doing obedience work. They need regular exercise and consistent, positive training, particularly while young. Their short coat is easy to care for but gives limited warmth, so a sweater can be a practical choice on a cold day.
When choosing a sweater for a big dog, measure the chest and neck and look for a stretchy fabric that lets the legs move freely. Watch for loose threads, and take it off if he seems warm or uncomfortable. We will call this gentle giant Titan. He wears the festive pattern with patience and a sort of thoughtful pride, as if reindeer had always been part of his family. The warm glow of the room completes the picture of a quiet, cozy evening.
