A Pug Puppy Wandered Into the Corn Field and Stopped to Look
Dry corn stalks rise around him like golden walls, and a fawn Pug puppy sits in the middle of the field with his wrinkled forehead and dark eyes turned up in curiosity. His big folded ears hang slightly forward, and the plush coat on his chest looks soft against the brown earth. A weathered shed stands in the background, with pumpkins and bundles of straw tucked near it. Leaves and stalks lie on the ground around his paws, and the late sun lights the whole scene.
Pugs are charming, sociable dogs known for their expressive faces, and they often love company, whether it is a lap or a field trip. Because of their short noses, they overheat quickly and should not do long or strenuous walks, especially in warm weather, and a calm stroll through a field is plenty. Fields and farm settings also come with hazards, such as burrs, thorns, sharp stalks, and ticks, so it is wise to check a puppy's coat and paws afterward. Make sure he is up to date on vaccines and parasite prevention, and ask your vet about safe outdoor activities for a young Pug.
He seems small next to all that corn, a curious explorer in a golden maze. Harvest time looks lovely when there is a puppy to share it. His round little paws are planted firmly, and the corn rustles around him.
