A French Bulldog Gets Wrapped in Yarn Like a Gift

AI imagefrench bulldogyarnknitting basket

Pink yarn is wound around the fawn French Bulldog from his ears to his paws, round and round, as though somebody started gift wrapping him and never finished. The knitting basket lies on its side next to him and a ball of yarn has rolled across the wooden floor. His big bat ears stand up straight and he is giving the camera a small, sweet smile with his tongue just visible.

French Bulldogs are small, playful, affectionate dogs who love being close to their families, and they have a clownish streak that makes them very entertaining. They are also a flat-faced breed, so they can have trouble with heat and heavy exercise, and it is a good idea to keep them cool and let them rest often. Yarn may seem like a harmless toy, but it can be dangerous if swallowed, because string and thread can cause serious problems inside a dog. If a pup eats any yarn, call your vet right away. Keeping craft supplies in a closed basket or on a shelf is the best prevention, and a rope toy gives your dog a safe string-like alternative.

He seems delighted with his new look. Someone will have to unwind him slowly, and he will probably be happy about the extra attention. The scarf he accidentally started will have a very unusual pattern.
