A Cinnamon Abyssinian Looks Up From the Spilled Bag of Kibble
With her large ears alert and her face tilted upward, the cinnamon Abyssinian is the picture of calm, even with a ripped paper bag of kibble spilled across the floor behind her. Brown pieces are scattered over the boards in a wide spray, and her warm, ticked coat shines in the light. A heap of laundry, a houseplant, and a few toys can be seen further back in the room, and she looks quite pleased with the view from where she sits.
Abyssinians are lean, athletic cats with a lot of curiosity, and they are well known for being active and playful. They are the kind of cat that wants to see everything that is going on, and they love to climb and explore. Dog food is not a good regular meal for a cat, because cats need nutrients in different amounts, such as more protein and certain amino acids. A little bit stolen from the dog's bowl is not usually harmful, but if your cat keeps eating it, talk to your vet. Storing pet food in a sealed container keeps it fresh and out of reach. Abyssinians also do well with puzzle feeders, which keep their minds as busy as their paws.
She seems pleased to have found something new to investigate. The kibble will need sweeping up, and the dog may have some opinions about the mess. The cat, however, is already looking for the next adventure.
