A Brindle Shih Tzu Has a Noodle Hanging From His Mouth
A strand of spaghetti hangs from his mouth like a long, red-tipped mustache, and the brindle Shih Tzu looks at you with big, dark eyes and a tiny smile. His fur is a mix of brown, black, and tan, and his ears flop forward like soft curtains.
Next to him sits a plate with a tangle of pasta and sauce, and a few noodles are scattered across the table. A set of keys, a gray blanket, and a pile of papers lie nearby, with a lamp glowing in the warm, blurry background.
Shih Tzus are small, affectionate companion dogs with long, silky coats and a sweet, outgoing nature. They like to be close to their people and are often happy to sit on a lap. Pasta is not poisonous to dogs, but sauces with onion and garlic are harmful, and rich or salty food can upset a dog's stomach. If your dog gets into dinner, call your vet if you are worried. Shih Tzus have short noses and long hair near their faces, so wipe their faces after meals, and keep hair out of their eyes. Feed him on a regular schedule so that he is less tempted by your plate.
He has the happy look of a dog who has found the best dinner of his life. A noodle is hanging out, but he is not in a hurry.
