The Maine Coon Lord Has Studied the Globe and Is Pleased
Someone has taught this lord that the world is round, and he looks quite happy about it. A brown tabby Maine Coon with tufted ears and a thick, shaggy ruff gazes out with calm green eyes. His olive velvet coat is stitched with gold laurel leaves and fastened with brass buttons over a green waistcoat, and a small white cravat peeks from the collar. Behind him, an antique globe rests on a wooden stand beside a pale window.
His ruff is so thick it almost swallows the cravat, and the stripes on his face are painted with care. The cool tones of the room make his warm, golden fur even richer, and the old globe behind him adds a quiet hint of faraway places and long, lazy afternoons of daydreaming.
Maine Coons are large, sociable cats with thick, shaggy coats and bushy tails. They are known for being gentle and often chatty, with chirps and trills. They mature slowly, sometimes taking three to five years to reach full size, so a vet can help you keep an eye on healthy weight. Their long fur needs regular brushing to avoid mats, especially around the ruff, belly and tail. They love climbing, so a sturdy cat tree is a good investment, and they enjoy playing with their people.
The lord has plans for the world. Mostly, they involve finding the warmest window ledge in each country.
