An Apricot Poodle Baron Keeps Perfect Time with His Pocket Watch
Soft apricot curls, a sage green coat and a pocket watch dangling from one paw: the baron is keeping very careful time. The Poodle has a rounded top-knot and long, curly ears that frame a thoughtful face, with dark brown eyes and a dark nose. His coat is pale sage green with gold edging and a fringed gold epaulette, and underneath it, a cream waistcoat and a white cravat. In one paw, trimmed with a ruffle of lace, he holds an open watch on a long chain. Behind him, pale grey drapes fall softly.
His look is polite and patient, as though he is giving the clock a chance to catch up. The pastel colors of the coat and the curls make a gentle, matching palette.
Apricot is a lovely Poodle color, and like other Poodle colors, it can fade or change as the dog grows. Poodles are bright, active dogs that thrive on training, games and daily exercise. Their coat sheds little, but it needs regular brushing and grooming to prevent mats. They are also very people-oriented and can become bored or anxious without attention. Provide puzzle toys and short training sessions, and ask your vet about diet, dental care and checkups.
The watch says it is just about time for a walk. The baron will, of course, be punctual.
