The Weimaraner Lord Spun the Globe and Chose His Next Adventure
That silvery coat and those soft amber eyes are unmistakable. This Weimaraner lord has long, velvety ears, a smooth grey face and a calm, thoughtful expression. He wears a fluffy cream fur collar over a pink brocade coat decorated with gold leaves, and a lace cravat is tucked at his throat. Beside him on a small gilded table stands an antique globe with soft blue seas, as though he has just finished planning an expedition. Pink drapes and golden swirls glow behind. His smooth coat has a metallic sheen that the painter has rendered with long, even strokes, and a faint blush of pink reflects on his cheek.
Weimaraners were bred in Germany as hunting dogs, and they are known for their athleticism, intelligence and devotion to their people. They need a lot of exercise, such as long runs or hikes, and they enjoy training and games that use their minds. They can be sensitive and may not like being left alone for long. A secure fence and a leash are important, as their hunting instincts can be strong. A vet can advise about feeding a deep-chested dog, since larger breeds may be at risk for serious stomach problems.
The lord looks like a gentleman of great learning, probably able to find his way across any continent by scent alone. He rests his hand on the knowledge of the world with calm confidence. Wherever he travels next, he will certainly return in time for dinner.
