The Royal Chef Tasted the Soup and Delivered His Verdict
A very tall white chef's hat towers over a face full of character. The Miniature Schnauzer has bushy gray eyebrows, a long salt-and-pepper beard, and a stern dark gaze that says the soup had better be perfect. Under that hat, his folded ears rest on either side of his head. He wears a navy velvet coat with gold leaf embroidery, a shoulder patch of braid, and a lace cravat that looks suspiciously clean for a kitchen. The dark background gives the white hat a glow.
Miniature Schnauzers are sturdy, alert little dogs with a lively personality and a famous beard. They were originally farm dogs, so they tend to be energetic, smart, and quick to bark at anything unusual. That wiry coat needs regular brushing and professional trimming to stay healthy, and the beard picks up food and water, so wipe it clean after meals. Keep an eye on treats, since the breed can gain weight easily, and talk to your vet about a healthy diet. They enjoy training, games, and daily walks with plenty of sniffing.
The royal kitchen is in very firm control. Not a spoon moves without his say. Every sauce will be tasted, every pie will be inspected twice, and any stray sausage will mysteriously go missing before it ever reaches the royal table, though nobody will dare ask where it went.
