The Empress Is a German Shepherd. Her Court Stands Very Straight.
The empress holds her head high, and her tall ears point straight up to the sky. A sable German Shepherd wears a small gold crown above her dark, intelligent eyes, a green velvet robe stitched in gold, and a thick white ermine collar that sweeps across her shoulders. Her black mask and tan face are painted carefully, with each hair of her coat looking soft and glossy. Behind her, a pale river runs through a wide green valley, with a distant village and far, misty hills.
German Shepherds are intelligent, loyal, and eager to work, which is why they are so often found as service dogs, search partners, and family guardians. They thrive on training, exercise, and having a job to do, such as learning commands or playing fetch. Without enough stimulation they can become bored and may chew or bark. Early socialization is important. Their thick double coat sheds quite a lot, so regular brushing helps, and a vet can advise on joint health and diet for this active, athletic breed.
The empress here looks every bit as watchful as she is graceful. There is trust in the pose, as though she has already decided you are welcome in her court. A ruler like this would be wise, fair, and quite willing to chase a ball after the day's affairs of state.
