The Pomeranian Knight Wore Armor and Somehow Still Looked Fluffy
The orange fluff is overwhelming. A Pomeranian head rises like a sunrise above polished steel armor, with fur sticking out around a small black nose and bright, round, dark eyes. His armor shines at the shoulders and chest, while a green tunic embroidered with gold leaves shows in the gaps and a white fur collar softens the edges. A red and green patterned wall gives the background a medieval feel. Sir Marmalade is very small for a knight and very large in spirit, and he stands ready to defend the realm from loud vacuum cleaners.
Pomeranians come from the spitz family and are descended from larger Arctic sled dogs, which explains that thick double coat. That coat sheds seasonally and needs brushing several times a week, with extra care during shedding. They are bold, alert and lively little dogs, often barking at visitors, so teaching a calm response early helps. Pomeranians can also be fragile, so supervise them around larger dogs and be careful with jumping from heights. Dental care matters for small breeds, and your vet can recommend a routine. Short walks and playtime are usually plenty for this energetic fluffball.
The armor may be heavy, but the heart inside is light. The quest is simple: guard the castle, keep the fluff in order, and never miss a snack.
