Every inch of the wicker bike basket is taken. Fawn puppies are packed in so tightly that heads pop up at every angle, some resting chins on the rim, others peeking between a sibling's ears. Riding along in a basket looks sweet, but if you ever plan to take a small dog on a real bike ride, safety comes first. Pet-specific bike baskets usually have sturdy walls, a cover or mesh top, and a short tether that clips to a harness so the dog can't jump out. For Chihuahuas and other toy breeds, a harness is generally a better choice than a collar for any leash or tether, because these breeds can be prone to delicate tracheas, and pressure on the neck can cause coughing or worse. Start with short, slow rides on quiet paths, and never let a puppy ride before it's comfortable and properly secured.

Of course, this bike isn't moving an inch. The basket has been repurposed into the world's cutest storage container, and the cargo is perfectly content.

Nobody needs to pedal anywhere when the view from the basket is this good.
