Four Rottweiler Puppies Sat Among the Daisies Looking Very Serious
Four black and tan puppies sit among a scattering of small white daisies, each with big, serious eyes and floppy ears. Their coats are glossy black, with the rich rust-colored markings the breed is known for above the eyes and on the cheeks and chest. The garden around them looks wonderfully untidy, with dry stems, a tipped clay pot, and patches of bare soil.
Rottweilers are often thought of as serious guardians, but puppies are playful and curious. The breed tends to be confident and loyal, and a good start in life includes plenty of gentle socialization: meeting different people, hearing new sounds, and exploring safe places while she is still young. Reward calm, friendly behavior and let her go at her own pace.
Gardens need a safety check before puppies explore them. Fertilizers, slug bait, and some plants, including lilies, azaleas, and certain bulbs, can be harmful to dogs. Broken pots can have sharp edges, and puddles may carry bacteria. If a puppy chews or swallows something, call your vet or a pet poison hotline. Large-breed puppies also should not overdo exercise on uneven ground, so keep play gentle while her joints grow.
For now, the four look quite proud of their patch, and the daisies make a pretty setting for the occasion. Dusk is on its way, and the daisies are closing up for the night.
