Two Rottweiler Puppies Sat on a Hay Bale and Waited Patiently
Sitting on a hay bale with their paws together, two black and tan puppies look straight ahead like a pair of perfectly behaved guests. Their rust-colored eyebrows give them a thoughtful look, and their glossy coats shine in the soft indoor light. A couch with a woven throw, a basket, and some slippers sit behind them in a cozy room.
Hay is fun for puppies to sniff and climb, but it should not become a snack. Eating dry straw can upset her stomach, and dusty bales may irritate eyes and noses. Offer fresh water and keep sessions short. A clean blanket over the bale gives a softer perch.
Rottweilers are famously calm and watchful, and even young puppies often show a thoughtful, serious side. Early socialization is important for this breed: expose them gently to new textures, people, and sounds, and reward calm behavior. A puppy who is introduced to new things in a positive way is more likely to become a confident adult. Because Rottweilers grow into powerful dogs, basic training like sit, stay, and walking politely on a leash is valuable. Ask your vet when she is ready to meet other dogs.
For now, the two look like they are waiting for a very important announcement, and they are determined to sit up straight until it arrives. Hay clings to their paws, and nobody minds.
