A Shih Tzu and a Bunny Had Their Own Little Picnic Indoors
Spread across the floor of a sunlit room, a blue and white gingham blanket makes the perfect picnic spot for a black and white Shih Tzu and a small brown bunny. The Shih Tzu lies with her head low and eyes half closed, and the bunny sits beside her, upright and calm, ears gently angled. A plant, a basket, and a hallway stretch behind them, and the soft light makes the whole picture feel like a lazy weekend.
Picnics are a nice way to get pets outside, but a few safety notes apply. Keep shade and fresh water nearby, since dogs and rabbits can overheat in warm weather. Watch out for foods that are unsafe for pets, such as chocolate, grapes, raisins, and anything with onion or artificial sweetener, and keep snacks out of reach. Rabbits can eat plenty of hay and fresh greens, so a small pile of those is the perfect picnic food for a bunny. A Shih Tzu enjoys company, soft surfaces, and a calm place to lounge, so a blanket on the grass is just right for her too.
The two look like friends enjoying a slow afternoon, with no plans and no hurry. The blanket has just enough room for both of them, and neither is crowding the other. A picnic does not need a basket of sandwiches to be a good one. A friend and a sunny spot will do the trick.
