A Sphynx Cat Led a Lop Bunny on a Stroll Through the Wildflowers
Daisies and little purple blossoms dot the grass, and the pink Sphynx walks proudly through them. Her slender legs, wrinkled skin, and huge ears give her an elegant, curious look, and her green-gold eyes are fixed on something ahead. Just beside her, Pudding the cream lop-eared bunny sits in the flowers with her head turned and one soft ear hanging over her face. A watering can, garden gloves, and a small blue shovel are scattered in the background of the yard.
Sphynx cats look dramatic, but they are very affectionate and love attention and warmth. Because they have so little fur, they usually need protection from sun and cold, and time outdoors is best kept brief and supervised. Rabbits also need safe outdoor time, with shade, fresh water, and a secure area, as they can overheat on hot days. Wildflowers are lovely, but some garden plants can be harmful to pets, so it is smart to check what is growing. If you are unsure whether a plant is safe, ask your vet.
The pair looks like they are heading off on an expedition, the Sphynx in front with her head held high, the bunny trailing at her own pace. Flowers brush past them, and the day stretches on. It looks like a very good walk, the kind that has no destination and needs none, only fresh air, a little curiosity, and a friend to share it with.
