Two Cream-Colored Friends Perched Side by Side on a Tractor Seat
Sunlight pours across a barn floor, and the old tractor seat has two new riders. A cream Scottish Fold sits on the left, her small folded ears flat against her round head and her yellow eyes turned toward the bunny. Pudding, a pale lop-eared rabbit with a white blaze on her forehead, sits close beside her with one long ear hanging down. They match so well in color that they look like twins. Slippers, a laundry basket, and a rack of clothes are tucked in the background.
Scottish Folds are known for their sweet expressions and calm, affectionate personalities, and cream is one of many coat colors the breed comes in. Lop rabbits are also known for being docile and friendly, and they often enjoy quiet company. Rabbits need a calm environment, plenty of hay, and a place to hide when they want to. An old tractor seat is a fun perch but should never be used as a play spot around running machinery. As always when a cat and a rabbit are together, supervise the visit and give each animal an escape route. Your vet can offer advice on introductions.
The two look like they are waiting for a ride that is never coming, and neither seems to mind. They sit in the warm light, close enough to touch, as quietly pleased as two passengers on a very slow bus.
