A Fluffy Pomeranian Found the Sunniest Spot, and the Ducklings Agreed
Tucked into a patch of tall sunflowers, a cream Pomeranian sits like a fluffy little cloud with a face. Beside her, a curved line of yellow ducklings has parked itself in the grass, a close match for the golden blooms overhead. Her dark eyes look off to one side, as though a very important thought has just crossed her mind. The whole group seems hushed, sharing the warmth of the afternoon sun.
Pomeranians are small dogs with big personalities, and they often act as though they are much larger than they are. Their thick double coat looks wonderful but needs regular brushing, and they can overheat on summer days, so shade and fresh water are a must. Ducklings also like to rest in warm sun, but they need shade nearby too, plus easy access to water for drinking. A cool, shady spot beside the flowers keeps everyone comfortable.
The Pomeranian's pale cream coat and the ducklings' bright yellow down make a pretty pair of colors against all that green stalk and leaf. Nothing is hurried here. Even the slightest flick of an ear seems to ripple through the whole group.
Between the fluff of the dog and the fluff of the ducklings, it is hard to tell where one cozy creature ends and another begins. The sunflowers lean over them like proud grandparents, and the little Pomeranian settles in to enjoy the show.
