A Pug and a Bengal Cat Took Their Seats on the Old Tractor
The seat of an old green tractor has become a double throne. A fawn Pug sits with his wrinkled face turned to the side and his dark eyes wide, while a spotted Bengal cat sits upright next to him with her green eyes fixed on something in the distance. A rack of work boots, a coat hanging on the wall, and a basket are visible in the barn behind them. Dust dances in a beam of light, and the smell of old hay hangs in the air.
Pugs are charming, people-loving dogs, though their short noses mean they overheat easily and can have trouble breathing during exercise. Bengal cats are energetic and clever, and they love climbing, so a tractor seat is a natural perch. If your pet likes to climb on machinery, make sure it's turned off and that the engine and other parts are safe. Barns and garages can have hazards, so always supervise.
They look like they are about to head off to work, the Pug serious in the driver's seat and the Bengal sharp-eyed beside him. A cat and dog in such perfect balance seem to be sharing the same daydream.
Neither is in a hurry to leave. The tractor isn't going anywhere, but that doesn't matter, because the ride is the best part. Some of the best friendships begin in the strangest of places.
