A Black Pug and a Gray Persian Share a Gingham Blanket in the Shade

The pair makes a funny, sweet match, with the same squished faces in different colors. They don't need to talk, and they don't need to move. A soft blanket on a warm day is plenty. Somewhere beyond the porch the neighborhood goes about its business, but here the only thing happening is a slow, comfortable breath or two.
