A White Cat and Nine Ducklings Curled Into One Fluffy Ball on the Couch

AI imagenorwegian forest catducklingscouch

A fluffy white Norwegian Forest Cat lies stretched out on a gray couch with her green eyes soft and her head resting on her paw. Nestled against her chest, nine fluffy yellow ducklings have curled into a single fluffy ball. A window with white curtains glows behind them. We'll call the cat Cloud. Now and then, one duckling peeps and wriggles deeper into the fur, and the cat lifts a paw just a little to make room.

Norwegian Forest Cats are large and fluffy cats from the cold north, and they have thick, water-resistant coats. They are gentle and friendly, and they often enjoy a cozy spot with their family. Their long coat needs regular brushing, and they love a soft place to rest. They are often quite large, which makes them wonderful, warm cushions.

Ducklings huddle together to keep warm, and nine in a pile will make a lot of body heat. But they should have a proper brooder, since couches can be unsafe for them. Ducklings can slip, fall, or get caught in cushions. A vet or poultry expert can recommend a safe space and the right temperature. Cushions can also trap small ducklings, so never leave them unattended on soft furniture.

Cloud looks like a soft white pillow, and the ducklings are fast asleep. It is a calm, cozy afternoon. The couch has never looked so soft.
