The Box Came With a Red Bow, and a White Cat Came With the Box
Tucked into a cardboard box lined with kraft paper, a fluffy white cat looks off to one side with green eyes and a pink nose. A big red bow sits on top of the box flap above its head. The cat's fur is soft and a bit tousled, and its pink-tipped ears are relaxed. Behind the box, a cozy living room holds a couch with gray blankets, strings of lights, pine sprigs, a mug, and a pair of slippers.
Cats and boxes are a famous pair, and for good reason. A box gives a cat a snug, enclosed space where it feels safe and warm, and it provides a hidden spot from which to watch the world. Giving a cat a spare box or two is a simple and inexpensive way to enrich its day. White cats with blue eyes may be prone to deafness, while those with green or gold eyes usually hear well, and every cat should have regular checkups. Keep the sun in mind too, since pale noses can get sunburned.
This sweet snowball, whom we might call Casper, has chosen the best seat in the house. The bow on top makes him look like a gift, and in a way he is. Whatever is under the tree, nothing could beat a fluffy white cat in a box, calmly watching the room.
