A Weimaraner Puppy Joined the Kids' Table With Perfect Posture
On a small wooden chair at a child-sized table, a silver grey Weimaraner puppy sits up very straight. The big soft ears, long nose and light eyes give her a thoughtful look, as if she were waiting to be served. On the table, there are paper cups, crayons, a bowl of berries, an orange napkin and half-colored papers. Light from a window falls across her gray coat, and the whole room looks ready for a small party.
A kids' table is a lively place, and puppies love to join in. Keep an eye on crayons, markers, small toys and food within reach of a puppy. Crayons are generally low in toxicity but can cause an upset stomach, and small items can be choking hazards. A puppy sitting politely is a good sign, and a quick treat for sitting still helps reinforce the behavior.
Weimaraners are bright, energetic and devoted. Puppies of the breed can be quite sensitive and thrive on companionship, and they often learn tricks quickly. They also grow fast, so the cute chair-sitting phase may be short. Plenty of exercise, training and attention help them become well-mannered adults.
She sits like a perfect dinner guest, with excellent posture and good manners. The kids will probably be delighted to have her. The crayons are safe for now, and the seat is hers for the whole meal.
