The Spider Webs Found a New Home on a Very Fluffy Maltese
The cobweb decorations were not meant to be worn, but this little Maltese has found a way. Thin white strands are draped across his fluffy head and shoulders, tangled lightly in his long fur, and his dark eyes look up at the camera with polite confusion. Behind him, a couch with a plaid pillow, a few wispy webs along the wall, and a tiny pumpkin on the floor set a Halloween scene.
Fake spider web is one of the riskier decorations for pets. The stretchy fibers can wrap around legs and necks, and a dog that chews or swallows them may need emergency help. Hang webbing well out of reach, use it sparingly, and sweep up any pieces that fall. If your dog gets tangled, stay calm and gently remove the strands, and call your vet if any may have been swallowed.
Maltese dogs are small, gentle companions known for their long, silky white coats and sweet temperament. The coat needs regular brushing, and many owners keep it trimmed for easier care. They love being close to their people and are generally friendly and playful. This one looks more bemused than bothered by the web, standing calmly in his lacy accessory. He seems to be saying that if the decorations are going to follow him around, he may as well look elegant.
