The Goldendoodle Puppy Dove Into the Leaf Pile and Looked Delighted

Up to his paws in orange and brown leaves, a cream Goldendoodle puppy looks like he has found the best spot in the yard. His curly fur is the color of vanilla, one ear hangs low, and his eyes are fixed on something just beyond the frame. Pumpkins and a pot of mums sit nearby in the late-day light. Orange gourds are stacked behind him, and bright leaves cling to his paws and whiskers as he leans in.

Goldendoodles are a mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle, and they are known for being friendly, bright, and playful. Coat types can vary from loose waves to tight curls, so grooming needs differ from dog to dog. Many of them love to swim, retrieve, and meet new people.

Piles of leaves are a delight for a puppy, but they can hide hazards such as sticks, mushrooms, or even sharp objects. Some wild mushrooms are toxic to dogs, so it helps to check the area first and keep an eye on him. After playtime, brush his coat to remove burrs and debris.

We can call him Doodle. He is happy, dusty, and perfectly content, and the leaves seem to be having just as much fun as he is. It is a perfect fall afternoon for a pup, and the only thing missing is a cup of cider for the humans.
