Two Fluffy Pomeranians Pressed Up Against the Window on Christmas Eve

AI imagepomeranianchristmas evesnow

Two round orange Pomeranian puppies stand with their front paws on a windowsill and watch the snow drift down outside. The bigger one gazes off to the side with bright dark eyes, while the smaller one rests his chin near the glass. Golden light pours through the panes, and flakes show up in the air. Behind them the living room is a cheerful tumble of blankets, wrapping paper, and a lit tree.

Pomeranians are tiny dogs with big personalities, and that thick double coat is a good clue to their roots in colder climates. Even so, a small puppy loses warmth quickly, so short trips outside in winter, a dry towel at the door, and a warm bed away from drafts are all sensible. Their coat needs regular brushing, especially during shedding periods, but it should not be shaved short without advice from a groomer or vet. Many Poms are alert and chatty, so they often love a window to supervise the neighborhood.

Windowsill watching is one of the best entertainments a puppy can have. Falling snow gives them moving shapes to follow without any effort, and a pair of siblings can share the view and the quiet. We will call these two Ember and Sparks. Whatever they are thinking, it seems peaceful, and the snow shows no sign of stopping. It looks like a very good night to be indoors.
