A Curly White Poodle Popped Out of a Giant Gift Box
A white Poodle peers out of a cardboard gift box lined with crinkled red tissue paper, with two big red bows draped on the sides. His curly head rests on the rim, and his dark eyes look right at the camera. The room behind him is a happy mess: a blanket over a couch, toys on the floor, and tissue papers scattered everywhere.
Poodles are one of the most intelligent dog breeds and have been used as working dogs, show dogs, and companions. They come in three sizes, standard, miniature, and toy, and they are known for being quick learners who love a challenge. Their curly coats do not shed much but do need regular grooming to prevent mats. A box full of tissue paper can be a safe, fun place to explore, but make sure he does not eat the paper, ribbon, or tape, and clear any staples or plastic wrap before he climbs in. Poodles do best with activities that engage their minds, so a puzzle toy or trick training session makes a good holiday gift.
Tissue paper rustling around him is probably half the fun.
As far as this dog is concerned, the surprise inside the box is him. The bows are crooked, the paper is crumpled, and nobody in the family seems to mind one bit that he took over the gift box.
