A Persian Cat Became the Star of a Toilet Paper Parade

AI imagepersian cattoilet paperbathroom

A fluffy white Persian sits in the middle of the bathroom, round amber eyes wide open, with long streamers of toilet paper trailing from her chest and curling across the tiles. Bits of paper cling to her fur and the empty rolls are scattered around her. In the background, the mirror, a basket of towels, and a half-empty trash can look on in silence.

Persians are calm, sweet cats with long, luxurious coats, and they usually prefer a quiet, comfortable home. Even a gentle breed will be tempted by a roll of toilet paper, because the way it unspools and flutters is just like prey moving. Toilet paper is not poisonous, but a cat that eats a lot of it can have stomach trouble, so call your vet if that happens. A long-haired cat also needs regular brushing to prevent mats, and a gentle comb through the coat is a good way to remove stray paper bits.

We will call her Duchess. She sits there with a stately, startled expression, as though the toilet paper simply appeared and wrapped itself around her. She has the dignity of royalty at a very messy parade, and a stray ribbon of tissue dangles from her ear like a crown. The bathroom will take a while to tidy, but nobody can deny she has a flair for decoration.
