The Bathroom Door Was Open by an Inch. The Boston Terrier Noticed.
Long white streamers of toilet paper stretch across the whole bathroom, draped over the shower curtain rod, the counter and the towel bar, and a brindle and white Boston Terrier sits in the middle of the room looking up with enormous round eyes. His ears are tilted back, his chin is raised, and the whole effect is like a very small parade just ended. A laundry basket spills over on the floor, and a green shower curtain hangs behind him. We'll call him Domino, and he seems to be at a loss for words.
Boston Terriers are friendly, lively dogs with expressive faces, and they love being part of the action. They are also easily bored, and a toilet paper roll is a great toy, because it spins, unrolls and makes a satisfying mess. Swallowing a small piece of paper is usually not a big problem, but eating a lot can cause a blockage, so call your vet if you think that has happened. A shorter, flatter muzzle also means Boston Terriers can overheat easily, so keep playtime gentle and cool. A closed bathroom door and a basket of dog-safe toys are the easiest fix.
Domino knows the bathroom looks different than it did this morning. His eyes say he's as shocked as anyone. The paper streamers will take some time to collect, but there is no doubt that this was an impressive amount of decoration.
