The Husky Princess Gave You One Cool, Blue-Eyed Look
The princess has ice blue eyes and a small, sparkling crown, and she is not yet sure about you. This red and white Siberian Husky wears a wide lace ruff, several long strands of pearls, and a gown of wine-red velvet stitched with golden flowers. Her fur is a rich copper on the ears and cheeks, fading to white on the muzzle. A single candle burns behind her in the dark, painting a warm glow on her fur and the old cracked paint.
Huskies were bred in Siberia to pull sleds over long distances, and that heritage shows in their energy and independence. They need lots of daily exercise, ideally running or long hikes, and they can become bored and noisy in a small routine. Many huskies are escape artists, so a tall, secure fence and a sturdy leash are important. Their thick double coat sheds heavily, and they are best kept cool in warm weather. Huskies are friendly and social, and they often like talking with a wide range of howls and chatter.
A real candle can be dangerous around a swishing tail, so pet owners often choose flameless ones. In the portrait, the glow is only for mood. The princess seems happy to wear her pearls and hold her gaze, at least until someone says the word snow.
